Hello everybody, it’s me, Dave, welcome to our recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a special dish, stuffed marrow. One of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Marrow stuffed with a beef mince based sauce and topped with golden, bubbling cheese. Bring a large pan of water to the boil - the pan needs to be large enough to hold the marrow halves. In this video I show you how I make Stuffed Marrow, a delicious way to use up some of that delicious veg we've been growing. Stuffed squash, courgette, marrow, mahshi, or zucchini is a dish common in the region of the former Ottoman Empire from the Balkans to the Levant and Egypt, a kind of dolma.

  8. Take 2 small chilli
  9. Get 2 tsp Worcester sauce
  10. Get 5 dozen mushrooms

Hollow from one end with apple corer or small spoon. Mix rice, meat, seasonings and half of the chopped tomato. This simple vegetarian version of the traditional stuffed marrow is utterly delicious and cheap to make. Filled with cheddar cheese, pine nuts and breadcrumbs, it makes a lovely side.

Steps to make Stuffed marrow:
  1. Slice the vegetables so it is prepared.
  2. Cut the marrow in half length ways. Dig the seeds out with a spoon. Put half the seeds aside and chuck the rest away.
  3. cook the mince in a wok until brown. Add the sliced veg in the wok and mix well with the mince until it's soft.
  4. Add the marrow seeds in the mince and mix it together. Put the lid on after. slice and mash up the garlic till it is a paste. Then put it in with the veg and mince.
  5. Then put the canned tomatoes, chilli, Worcester sauce and Rosemary and leave to book for 5min. preheat the oven on 200c.
  6. As it is 5 min add the mince in marrow and put cheese on top. add the lid of the marrow on top and wrap the stuffed marrow with a string and Tin foil and put in oven for 1hr 30min.
  7. If the skin of the marrow still hard put it in longer. check by putting a normal knife through it.
  8. when done slice the stuffed marrow by the width and use a big spoon to dish on plate and a fork to hold together. And there you have a gorgeous stuffed marrow.

This simple vegetarian version of the traditional stuffed marrow is utterly delicious and cheap to make. Filled with cheddar cheese, pine nuts and breadcrumbs, it makes a lovely side.
