Mine took about an hour and I would shake the pan often to avoid the pumpkin sticking and to stop the steam escaping avoided lifting the lid as much as possible.
  2. Using a blender, blend the pumpkin until smooth.
  3. Return to a medium-low heat and add the butter, sugar and flour. Gently simmer stirring often for 5 minutes.
  4. Allow to rest for 10 minutes. Serve sprinkled with cinnamon to taste.
