  1. Make ready 2 large potato, boiled & mashed
  2. Get 2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  3. Make ready 1 tbsp corn, boiled & crushed

  5. Make ready 2 tbsp capsicum, finely chopped
  6. Prepare 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  7. Get 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  8. Get 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp salt
  10. Get 1 tsp soy sauce
  11. Take 4 slices bread
  12. Get 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  13. Make ready 1/2 cup Cornflour/ cornstarch
  14. Prepare oil for frying
Instructions to make Chinese Gold Coins:
  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take boiled potato, onion, carrot, capsicum and boiled corn.
  2. Next add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, coriander, salt and soy sauce. Mix well making sure everything is combined well.
  3. Now using a round shape cookie cutter or glass and cut bread slice into round pieces. Top with a tbsp of the prepared mixture. Coat with sesame seeds over the mixture.
  4. To Fry: - Make a slurry with cornflour and enough water, now dip the prepared coins in this mixture and fry. Flip over and fry till the gold coin turns golden and crisp.
  5. To Bake: - Do not dip in the slurry, just bake at 180-degree celsius for 10 minutes, or till the gold coin turns golden and crisp.
  6. Finally, serve veg gold coin with tomato sauce or green chutney.
