Easiest Way to Prepare Perfect Buns

Hey everyone, it’s John, welcome to my recipe site. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, buns. One of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I will make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Buns that taste and look like soft pretzels! Not too difficult to make, these buns are great for sandwiches or as a side (especially with steak!). Try them with burgers topped with Swiss cheese and honey mustard! American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fifth Edition.

Buns is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. They are nice and they look wonderful. Buns is something which I’ve loved my entire life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook buns using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Buns:
  1. Take 300 ml full-fat milk
  2. Prepare 50 g butter
  3. Make ready 500 g strong bread flour
  4. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  5. Get 75 g caster sugar
  6. Make ready 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  7. Take 7 g yeast
  8. Prepare 1 egg beaten

These hamburger buns are ultra customizable. In the Taste of Home Test Kitchen, we like to add sesame or poppy seeds. To add seeds, brush warm buns with butter and add your favorite toppings. This recipe can also be used for slider buns or rolls.

Instructions to make Buns:
  1. Heat up the milk, then remove from the heat and add 50g butter. Leave to cool until it reaches room temperature. Put 500g strong bread flour, 1 tsp salt, 75g caster sugar and 7g sachet fast-action or easy-blend yeast into a bowl. Make a well in the centre. Pour in the warm milk and butter mixture, then add 1 beaten egg. Using a wooden spoon, mix well, then bring everything together with your hands until you have a sticky dough.
  2. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it. Repeat for 5 mins until smooth and elastic. Put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with oiled cling film and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hr or until doubled in size.
  3. Once the dough has risen divide it into 15 even pieces (about 75g per piece). Roll each piece into a smooth ball on a lightly floured work surface. Arrange the buns on one or two baking trays lined with parchment, leaving enough space for the dough to expand. Cover with more oiled cling film, or a clean tea towel, then set aside to prove for 1 hr more.
  4. Heat oven to 200C. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Enjoy!

To add seeds, brush warm buns with butter and add your favorite toppings. This recipe can also be used for slider buns or rolls. I will warn you though — they're so delicious fresh out of the oven that you might find they don't last that long! How to freeze buns and bread: We often freeze some of these for later, otherwise we would eat buns for every meal and nothing else! This is a great recipe that is so versatile.
