The ingredients needed to make Jambalaya rice:
  1. Make ready 1 cup tin tomato paste
  2. Get 1 cup sweet corn
  3. Make ready 1 cup green, yellow and red pepper (fresh)
  4. Prepare 1 and half cup vegetable oil
  5. Prepare 3 bay leaves
  6. Take 1 teaspoon thyme
  7. Get 1 teaspoon black pepper
  8. Make ready 1 tablespoon curry
  9. Take Sausage
  10. Take 1 cup chicken stock
  11. Make ready 4 cups basmati rice
  12. Prepare 6 knoor seasoning (beef) + Maggi seasoning 4 cubes
  13. Make ready Onion
Steps to make Jambalaya rice:
  1. Chop your peppers, onion and sausage neatly, heat up your pot add vegetable oil, sauté some of the chopped onions, then add tomato paste, spices, and bay leaf
  2. Fry the tomato paste till it is cooked and it looks like small clumps, then add chicken stock and water allow to boil.
  3. When it is boiling add your basmati rice lower the heat and allow to cook, don't allow the rice to be dry before turning it off, leave a bit of sauce.
  4. In another pan now sauté the remaining onions, cut sausage and meadly of peppers
  5. Add sautééd vegetables to rice and combine, allow to simmer for 5 minutes, your jambalaya rice is ready!
