Hello everybody, it’s John, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a distinctive dish, spaghetti bolognese. One of my favorites. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the most favored of current trending foods on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Spaghetti Bolognese is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

Our best ever spaghetti bolognese is super easy and a true Italian classic with a meaty, chilli sauce. This recipe comes courtesy of BBC Good Food user Andrew Balmer. Spaghetti bolognese (sometimes called spaghetti alla bolognese, or colloquially 'spag bol', spaghetti with meat sauce, or just spaghetti) is a pasta dish that is popular outside Italy. Everyone needs a great everyday Spaghetti Bolognese recipe, and this is mine!

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook spaghetti bolognese using 16 ingredients and 15 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Spaghetti Bolognese:
  1. Get large onion (diced)
  2. Take tomatoes (425g tin)
  3. Make ready beef stock
  4. Make ready extra virgin olive oil
  5. Prepare mince beef
  6. Prepare grated or sliced carrots (optional)
  7. Get garlic (chopped)
  8. Get dried spaghetti
  9. Take seasoned or garlic salt
  10. Take freshly ground black pepper
  11. Take bay leaves
  12. Make ready Cayenne chilli pepper
  13. Prepare parmigiano cheese (to sprinkle on top)
  14. Make ready dried oregano
  15. Make ready dried basil
  16. Prepare Sugar

This traditional Bolognese is flavored with garlic, oregano, and a hint of Worcestershire sauce. Everyone needs a basic spaghetti bolognese recipe that still tastes great, no matter how simple. Get that depth of flavour by cooking the sauce very gently until it's super rich. It doesn't take a lot of ingredients (or a lot of money) to make a classic Bolognese recipe.

Steps to make Spaghetti Bolognese:
  1. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil over a medium heat in a saucepan.
  2. Add the beef, and brown (Don't over cook the beef). Should only need about 5 minutes tops.
  3. Transfer to a bowl once its cooked and set aside.
  4. Using the same pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil and heat.
  5. Add the onions, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Fry for about 5 minutes or until softened.
  6. Add the garlic and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
  7. Then add the carrots and mince beef back into the pan.
  8. Next add the tomatoes and stir well. Add the herbs, spices and sugar.
  9. Pour in the stock and then reduce heat.
  10. Check seasoning is to your taste before turning the heat off.
  11. Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Set aside when cooked.
  12. When its time to cook the pasta. Heat a saucepan filled with water, a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  13. Cook pasta as the instructions say. After boiling point it normally takes 12-15 minutes to cook pasta.
  14. Drain the pasta when cooked.
  15. On each plate pour sauce over pasta then sprinkle with some cheese. (I used parmigiano cheese)

Get that depth of flavour by cooking the sauce very gently until it's super rich. It doesn't take a lot of ingredients (or a lot of money) to make a classic Bolognese recipe. What it does take, though, is patience for the sauce to achieve the ideal authentic texture. This sauce is ideal for spaghetti, but can be used with any kind of pasta - great for Lasagna as well. This uses simple ingredients but is very tasty nonetheless!
