  17. Make ready 2 tbsp grated coconut
  18. Take 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  19. Take 2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  20. Make ready As per taste Salt and sugar as per taste

You can also use left over rice instead of the vegetables. Muthia or Indian Dumplings made with millet wheat and chickpea flour are a quick Gujarati snack. One such healthy choice is Muthia, a Guajarati dish of steam cooked dumplings with a goodness of Bottle guard and Beetroot. Grated veggies are mixed with whole wheat flour, gram flour, semolina and aromatic spices to form a dough and steam cooked to perfection.

Instructions to make Stuffed Steamed Muthias:
  1. Mix salt and sugar in the chopped fenugreek leaves and rub to make them soft.
  2. Soak the soya granules over night. Then boil the soya granules. For 15 minutes.
  3. Blend the soya granules.
  4. Mash the boiled potatoes.
  5. Add flour, fenugreek and rest of the ingredients and add the filling ingredients and Mix everything lightly and well.
  6. Divide in 9 portion and make rolls.
  7. Arrange all the 9 Muthias rolls in a steam pot. Steam for 25 minutes.
  8. Cut it in round slices and shallow fry them with little oil in a pan.
  9. Serve them with sauce or chutney.
