The ingredients needed to make Beef Korma:
  1. Get 1/2 tablespoon coriander seeds
  2. Get 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds

  5. Get 3 whole cloves
  6. Prepare 2 tablespoons water
  7. Get 2 tablespoons ground almonds
  8. Take 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  9. Get 1/2 tablespoon crushed root ginger
  10. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon salt
  11. Get 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  12. Take 600 g diced beef stewing steak
  13. Get 1-2 tablespoons cooking oil
  14. Take 1 medium onion, chopped
  15. Get 4 tablespoons water
  16. Make ready 150 ml cream
  17. Get 4 tablespoons plain yoghurt
  18. Make ready 1 tablespoon plain flour
  19. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  20. Make ready 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
Instructions to make Beef Korma:
  1. Spice paste: grind coriander seed, cumin seed, cardamon seed, paprika and cloves to a powder.
  2. Add the water, almonds, garlic, ginger, salt and cinnamon and blend together.
  3. Brown beef in some oil, then remove from heat.
  4. Lightly brown onion in some oil, then add spice paste and cook for further 4 minutes.
  5. Add browned beef to the onion and spices with 4 tablespoons water.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the beef is cooked through and tender (depends on the thickness of the beef).
