  5. Bake them for about 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. When it's ready and still hot brush the outside with some sugar water. Serve it with icing sugar.

Core the apples and chop or cut them into fine slices. Mix the apple slices in a bowl with vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Add vanilla, almond extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey to walnut mixture.
