About Punjabi Samosa Recipe: The most favourite tea time snack across the country, Samosas are Indian snacks with delicious pockets of dough stuffed with a potato mixture and spices, deep fried. As we approach the weekend, there is no other food that comes to my mind than these Golden, Crispy Samosas also known as ' Aloo Samosa or Punjabi Samosa ' !! Bubbling hot, served with a fresh pot of ginger tea, its a match made in culinary heaven and of course served with Cilantro-Dhaniya Chutney or Sweet-Spicy Mango Chutney. Flaky and tender fried samosa are one of the most popular recipes in North Indian cuisine.

Punjabi Samosa is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They are nice and they look wonderful. Punjabi Samosa is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have punjabi samosa using 15 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Punjabi Samosa:
  1. Take 300 gm Maida/All-purpose Flour
  2. Make ready 50-60 gm rava
  3. Prepare 5-7 Boiled potatoes
  4. Make ready 2 cups pre boiled green peas
  5. Prepare 1 tsp Ajwain/ carom seeds
  6. Make ready 1 cup Coriander leaves
  7. Get 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  8. Make ready 2 tsp garam masala
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp Green chilli and Ginger Garlic paste
  10. Get to taste Salt
  11. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder optional
  12. Get 2 tsp dry mango powder
  13. Take 3 tbsp oil
  14. Prepare as needed oil for frying samosa
  15. Get as needed chutney

I think they are universally loved and hard to resist. And I think these homemade punjabi samosas can give any store bought samosa a run for its money. In fact, some store bought samosas get it so wrong that it's unbelievable - the stuffing is not appetizing enough, or the pastry is not fried properly. Because making good samosas is an art and needs time and patience, so I don't have any.

Steps to make Punjabi Samosa:
  1. First of all for Binding Dough. Take flours add salt, Ajwain and oil bind semi soft dough by adding very less quantity of water. Rest the dough around 20mins.
  2. Now for filling take boiled potatoes and peas smash add all the spices to them
  3. Now knead the dough again before preparing the samosa
  4. Roll them in to semi thin roti and dry roast them
  5. Prepare a slury from flour add water to it and prepare thick paste
  6. Now cut the roti into half and prepare them into triangular cone shapes
  7. Fill the stuff about one to one and half tsp and stick the corners with the dough slury and keep them ready later fry or bake them.
  8. Now they are ready to serve with chutneys, pav, sev
  9. You can serve them like this also you can prepare some Chole or Ragda chat with Samosa and chutney tastes awesome

In fact, some store bought samosas get it so wrong that it's unbelievable - the stuffing is not appetizing enough, or the pastry is not fried properly. Because making good samosas is an art and needs time and patience, so I don't have any. Press the bottom of the samosa gentle on the palm to give it a firm seat which will make the samosa stand. Cook the Samosa - Air Fry / Bake / Air Fryer Lid / Crisper Lid. Coat the samosa with oil generously.
