Instructions to make Shawarma Pockets (Middle Eastern style):
  1. Marinate the chicken with all ingredients of marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or for overnight.
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients of salad and keep aside.
  3. Prepare your sauce as well. I had leftover raita yogurt so I used it.. 😉
  4. Prepare the hummus and fries. I had some leftover hummus so I used it, you can skip it too. - (see recipe)
  5. Grill the chicken, 7-8 mins each side. Cut into thin slices. Give a smoke of coal if you like. Shawarma Pockets (Middle Eastern style)1. Grill the pitas.
  6. Assembling: Make pockets in the pitas and fill with hummus, sauce, chicken pieces, salad, jalapeños and olives.
  7. Serve with fries and hummus and enjoy!!
